As part of Waste4Think, Virtualware has designed and implemented 3 mobile location-based games with educational purposes about waste management for scholars. The main objective is to create awareness and boost students´active participation on this issue. They also serve as support to the rest of learning materials developed in the project including the Digital projects, STEM lessons and serious games.
The mobile games cover relevant aspects in waste management such us, composting, waste sorting or recycling and are already available in the stores
You can find a brief explanation of each of them below:
- Sunflower: to encourage students to decide which are the best resources for compost while discovering the microorganism involved in each phase.
- 0waste: to monitor the waste/resource generation and the time evolution in a funny an easy way, while analyzing how much waste the players produce for each type of waste.
