Waste4Think attends the 7th Edition of WasteEng2018

This week, Waste4Think Greek partners have presented three papers at the 7th International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorization.

During this week the 7th International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorization has been held in Prague (Czech Republic). Our Project partners Professor Gerasimos Lyberatos explained the latest developments on the production of gaseous biofuels and compost from food residue biomass `FORBI´ for hydrogen and methane production.

Adittionally, two other papers were presented in the framework of the Waste4Think Project, regarding the valorization of biowaste. The papers are the following ones:

  1. G.M. Lytras I. Michalopoulos, D. Mathioudakis, T. Dimitriou, I Zacharopoulos, C. Lytras, K. Papadopoulou, G. Lyberatos, “Waste-to-Biofuels: Valorization of Food Residue Biomass (FORBI) for hydrogen and Methane Production” 7th International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorization, WasteEng18, July 2-5 2018, Prague, Czech Republic.
  2. I. Michalopoulos, G.M. Lytras, S. Michalakidi, S. Zgouri, K. Papadopoulou, G. Lyberatos, “Evaluation of in-vessel and pilot scale composting as an alternative for Food Waste Valorization, 7th International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorization, WasteEng18, July 2-5 2018, Prague, Czech Republic.
  3. K. Papadopoulou, X. Pavlopoulos, P. Georgiou, A. Peppas, L. Zoumpoulakis, G. Lyberatos, “Production of an Adsorbent from Food Residue Biomass (FORBI): Evaluation of its physical, chemical and adsorption properties, 7th International Conference on Engineering for Waste and Biomass Valorization, WasteEng18, July 2-5 2018, Prague, Czech Republic.
