Waste4Think at CONAMA LOCAL– 29 November 2017, Valencia

Waste4Think Project will participate at the special session on TOOLS TO PROMOTE THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN CITIES which will took place on the 29th of November and organised within the CONAMA LOCAL 2017 in Valencia, Spain, under the motto Cities connect naturally

The Conama Foundation is a Spanish, independent and non-profit organization that promotes the exchange of knowledge in pursuit of sustainable development. Its philosophy is to create meeting points to listen to everyone and promote collaboration between the different partners in the environmental sector (professionals, academics, companies, ecologists, …) to establish networks that allow progress in sustainable development.

The Conama Local Valencia 2017 is a forum for debate and work between professionals and agents involved, with the following global objective: Align local policies with the objectives of the Global Agenda 2030 and the Paris Agreement.

Mikel Ibarra from Aclima, will present Waste4Think Project and the expected results within the session `Tools to promote circular economy in cities. A session designed to move from diagnosis to action, thinking about how to improve competitiveness and create jobs from the circular economy in cities, fostering collaboration among actors and knowing the tools available. In this sense, Mikel will explain how to improve the management of urban waste in cities through the use of ICTs in the different urban services. Solutions that are being tested within the framework of the project
