The European project, led by DeustoTech, seeks to move forward the current urban waste management practices into a circular economy motto, demonstrating the value of integrating and validating a set of 20 eco-innovative solutions that cover all the waste value chain in 4 complementary urban areas in Europe: Cascais (Portugal), Halandri (Greece), Seveso (Italy) and Zamudio (Spain).

The video presents the 20 eco-innovative solutions grouped in 6 different groups: Operation and planning tools, new treatments, educational materials, citizen science, apps and prevention and best practices and also the pilots and their different profiles of industrialization, social, demographic and geographic features as well as different realities on matters concerning waste management.

The project considered 4 of them as a single integrated urban metabolism, opening the way for innovative, systemic approaches, involving the analysis of resource flows within 4 cities.

This concept of `virtual city´ is reflected in the video in a image that integrates all the solutions.

Besides this promotional video with the general objectives of the project, short videos are also being produced for the youtube channel of the project, aiming to reach a wider audience and a third type of videos will be produced in the second half of the project focused on the results of the project.
