A group of young educators explain in Zamudio how to sort urban waste correctly
During the second fortnight of July, in the context of one of the work camps organized by the Youth Department of the Basque Government, a group of young people coming from outside of the Basque Country trained citizens in Zamudio on how to separate urban waste correctly.
The initiative took place in the context of the Waste4Think European project, and it was a suggestion of the local council of Zamudio. The activity included a first phase in which young people were trained themselves, and were given the information materials that they would use later.
The goal of this activity was to clear up any doubts involving waste sorting and its advantages. For that purpose, there were actions on the streets and informational home visits.
